Narrung Street Off-Leash Area
Wagga Wagga NSW 2650, Wagga Wagga, NSW
The Narrung Street Off-Leash Area in Wagga Wagga, Australia, provides a spacious and scenic environment for dogs to exercise and socialize. The park features at least two distinct fenced sections: a long, narrow grass run ideal for fetch and sprinting, and a larger rectangular area dedicated to agility training. This agility section includes well-maintained equipment such as a tunnel, an A-frame, and hurdles, catering to active dogs. The entire area is covered in healthy green grass and is securely enclosed by wire mesh fencing. While the park is relatively open, several young and mature trees are scattered throughout, offering patches of natural shade. The location is particularly picturesque, situated adjacent to a large lake and river, providing beautiful waterfront views for owners. Although specific amenities like drinking fountains, benches, or waste stations are not clearly visible in the provided images, the park's size and specialized equipment make it a high-quality off-leash destination. A playground is also visible in the distance across the water, suggesting a family-friendly broader park context.

Long narrow field. Overgrown grass. Likely to lose ball over the side fence. Go to the sports oval a little further north on the right, or to unfenced off-leash area on the Wiradjuri Walk by the river.
Very, very long, not one for practicing recalls! Fence is quite low.
