Dog Park Terrigal
2A Terrigal Esplanade, Terrigal, NSW
Dog Park Terrigal is a sprawling coastal recreation area in Australia, offering a variety of environments for visitors and their pets. The highlight for dog owners is a large, open grassy field that serves as an off-leash area, secured by chain-link fencing and equipped with floodlights for evening use. This area also features a small sheltered picnic table. Beyond the dog-specific zone, the park boasts stunning scenic lookouts with paved surfaces and sturdy metal railings, providing panoramic views of the ocean and rugged cliffs. For families, there is a well-equipped playground featuring multiple slides, swings, and climbing structures, all protected by large blue shade sails and set upon a safety-conscious surface of wood chips and rubber. Access to the nearby sandy beach is facilitated by a well-maintained boardwalk and stairs. The park includes a sizeable paved parking lot to accommodate visitors. With its mix of manicured lawns, wooded sections, and coastal vistas, the park offers a vibrant and picturesque atmosphere suitable for exercise, play, and relaxation.

Beautiful area, wish I'd had more time to explore. Make sure you're dog is well trained because the dog park isn't fenced and is next to a busy parking area.

Lucky to have this dog Park so central. Big grassed area. Down side is no fencing, so you need a controllable dog, and sometimes tourists will sit in the middle of the park.
