Sydenham Dog Park
228 Unwins Bridge Rd, Sydenham, NSW
Sydenham Dog Park, situated within the Inner West Council region, provides a versatile and expansive space for canine exercise and socialization. The park features a large, securely fenced off-leash area characterized by a mixed surface of natural grass and well-worn dirt patches. This area is well-equipped with essential amenities, including a dedicated water station featuring a fountain and a ground-level bowl, multiple waste bins paired with convenient bag dispensers, and several wooden benches for owners to rest. Mature, leafy trees are scattered throughout the site, offering significant natural shade, while a permanent roofed structure provides additional shelter over a picnic table. The terrain features gentle slopes, providing a bit of variety for active dogs. Overall, the park offers a practical, community-focused atmosphere with a good balance of open space and functional facilities.

On the small side and lots of dirt but a great community venue

As a dog park, not that exciting but there aren't that many fenced dog parks in Sydney so can't be too choosy. The park is right under the flight path and quite high so planes coming in to land are pretty close, exciting for humans!
