Boomerang Park Off-Lead Dog Exercise Area

49 Kangaroo St, Raymond Terrace, NSW

4.4(21 reviews)

Boomerang Park Off-Lead Dog Exercise Area in Australia offers a sprawling and diverse environment for canine exercise. The park is characterized by its vast open grassy fields, which provide ample space for dogs to run and play freely. Beyond the manicured sections, there are natural bushland areas with mown trails through tall grass, perfect for exploratory walks. The park's infrastructure includes a basic water tap on a wooden post, though the lack of a basin results in muddy surroundings. For human visitors, the park features an outdoor fitness station with various exercise bars and equipment set on a modern rubberized surface. Mature trees, including tall pines and eucalyptus, are scattered throughout, offering significant natural shade. While the park includes buildings that likely serve as public toilets and storage, there is no visible perimeter fencing in the images, suggesting an open-plan off-leash area. The ground is primarily natural grass and dirt, which can be prone to muddiness in high-traffic areas. Overall, the park provides a rustic, large-scale outdoor space suitable for active dogs and owners seeking a natural setting.

Great stress free spot to play fetch with our dogs to get them exercise while traveling

This was our first pit stop on our drive up the coast from Sydney. Fabulous - huge space to let our dogs run wild. It had a lower field and also a path through the woods which led us back to the upper field. Not near any busy roads, so nice and safe for running free.

Really rough car park full of Council worker's vehicles. Muddy, rutted, untidy, unsigned. There is a toilet block there, but it was all locked up, so don't rely on it. No …

It's quite a substantial area for off leash dogs. The dogs had a great time chasing tennis balls.
