Giba Park

Point St, Pyrmont, NSW

4.7(238 reviews)

Giba Park is a picturesque waterfront green space in Pyrmont, Sydney, characterized by its expansive grassy lawns and spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and city skyline. The park offers a mix of open spaces and shaded areas provided by large mature trees and palm trees. It is a popular destination for dog walking, with visual evidence of dogs enjoying the open environment. Facilities include paved pedestrian paths, benches for resting, street lighting, and conveniently placed trash cans. While the park features metal safety railings along the water's edge and elevated sections, it does not appear to have a fully enclosed, dedicated fenced area for dogs. The terrain is mostly flat with some gentle slopes, providing a versatile space for recreation. A commercial parking garage is located in the immediate vicinity, enhancing accessibility. The overall atmosphere is serene and spacious, serving as a vital urban retreat for both residents and their pets. The park's layout encourages walking and relaxation against a stunning harbor backdrop.

A park on a hill with a private feel♡ A place only I want to know~~ Because it is on high ground, it is a fantastic place with an open sea view and sunset view. Quieter than other parks

A lovely park with a high elevation to watch the Nye fireworks from. The NYE event is regulated so you cannot bring in glass (no wine or beer bottles) so plan around this.
