Pottsville Dog Beach
Tweed Coast Rd, Pottsville, NSW
Pottsville Dog Beach offers a sprawling, natural environment for dogs to exercise off-leash along a beautiful stretch of the Australian coastline. The park is characterized by its vast expanse of soft, white sand and its proximity to the ocean, providing plenty of room for running and swimming. The area is bordered by coastal dunes protected by simple post-and-wire fencing and sparse native vegetation. There are no man-made structures like benches, toilets, or lighting visible on the beach itself, maintaining a wild and untouched atmosphere. Access to the beach is via sandy paths that cut through the dunes. The ground surface is predominantly sand, making it a perfect spot for high-energy play. While the aerial view shows nearby residential areas and a road with parking, the beach remains a wide-open space. This location is best suited for owners seeking a scenic, natural setting rather than a structured park with built-in amenities. It provides a serene environment for both pets and owners to enjoy the coastal landscape.

Once you get to the carpark the Google maps takes you to simply walk into the beach and head north. The on leash area start 200m South of the dog beach carpark. Excellent beach for dogs.
Beautiful beach to take dogs only one section of beach is leash free only signs i could see are big on the beach bit tricky to pick what car park but when you get it sorted its nice.. perhaps council could put a leash free sign on the entry for the leash free section.
Great dog beach. Wide beach with plenty of room for all the dogs to run around.
A gorgeous little beach with plenty of room for doggos.
Nice and big for the fur babies to run around. Mostly flat, no seats and not much shade but still a good beach to pop in and let the dogs run free.
