North Turramurra Dog Park

Du Faur St, North Turramurra, NSW

4.2(47 reviews)

North Turramurra Dog Park is a spacious and scenic off-leash facility located in a lush, wooded setting in Australia. The park is primarily covered in well-kept grass, with some dirt paths and patches in high-use areas. It is fully enclosed by black chain-link fencing, featuring secure double-gate entry systems to ensure dog safety. The park offers a variety of amenities, including multiple park benches, a picnic table, and trash disposal bins. Mature eucalyptus trees surrounding the perimeter provide ample natural shade, while the central area remains open for running and fetch. The presence of tall floodlight poles indicates the park is equipped for use during low-light hours. The atmosphere is peaceful and community-oriented, with plenty of space for dogs to interact. A small brick building in the background likely houses public toilets, and a basketball court is situated adjacent to the main grassy field. While some agility equipment like hoops and cones are seen in use, they appear to be portable items brought by visitors.

Great to take dogs too with a friendly local community. Easy access to the park for all types of dogs. Large area for dogs to play with strong/high gates. Suggest that you enter the park using Du Faur Street, however it's also accessible via Kirkpatrick Street. Parking is available and usually plentiful - great for dog-social events!

An empty bowl of grass (flood area) under powerlines that has been fenced off & called a dog park.

Little shade and seating, but there are usually many dogs around and the grass is fairly clean. In the morning dog paws can get a little dirty as the ground might not be fully dry. There is water and poo bags and good parking. Owners are …

A nicely sized oval with lush grass for bigger dogs to run in, however it isn't as suitable for smaller dogs, and has almost no seating or shade for owners.
