Emu Heights dog off-leash area

2 Wedmore Rd, Emu Heights, NSW

4.1(54 reviews)

The provided images showcase expansive and well-maintained dog-friendly areas characterized by vast open grassy fields and natural bushland. The terrain is predominantly undulating with gentle slopes, offering a large space for exercise and play. Several sections are securely enclosed with black chain-link fencing, including a dedicated "Large Dog Area" as indicated by park signage. Amenities visible include wooden benches for seating and a sheltered area containing a picnic table. The environment is rich with mature eucalyptus and other native trees, providing ample natural shade throughout the day. A paved walking path is visible in one section, leading through a more wooded part of the park. The ground surface is almost entirely natural grass, though some dirt patches and leaf litter are present near the fence lines and under trees. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and rural, typical of Australian regional parks. While the images contain signs for different locations like South Lawson Park and St Clair Dog Park, they collectively depict high-quality off-leash facilities with essential infrastructure for dog owners.

Its a good spot to take your pup however there is no actual footpath to get down to the park its just a dirt hill so on rainy days you have to be careful not to slip there is also no shelter

Having a very boisterous and energetic pup, this park held no interest for me or my pup. Too small. Perhaps it is good for older dogs and small dogs. I'm just being honest with my review.

Great dog park. A little out of the way but this makes it nice and quiet. Seperate sections for both big and small dogs. Plenty of parking and room for the dogs to run around.

It's nice, looks like it'll have shade for most of the day. A little on the small side and the bin is well outside the off leash areas which is a bit of a pain.
