Leslie Muir Reserve
15A Close St, Canterbury, NSW
Leslie Muir Reserve in Australia offers a versatile and expansive environment for dog owners and their pets. The park features a dedicated, fully fenced dog exercise area equipped with various agility tools, including a tunnel, a hoop, and an A-frame ramp, providing mental and physical stimulation for active dogs. This enclosed section utilizes a secure double-gate entry system and includes amenities such as benches and trash cans for convenience. Beyond the fenced enclosure, the reserve boasts vast, open grassy fields that appear to serve as off-leash areas, where dogs can run freely across the gently sloping terrain. The landscape is characterized by numerous mature trees that offer ample natural shade, making it comfortable for visitors even on sunny days. A network of paved paths meanders through the park, catering to walkers, joggers, and cyclists. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and community-oriented, bordered by residential areas. While the park excels in space and basic dog-specific infrastructure, specific human amenities like toilets or BBQ facilities are not immediately apparent in the provided views.

Reviews
10 reviewsA great enclosed dog park with agility course for practice. Unfortunately there is always a LITERAL Karen (haircut included) who comes with her German Shepard that hogs the park and says her "dog is unfriendly" and then she's super rude …
Nice park, bit unkempt but has what you need (didn't have poo bags this time) Was also nice to walk past the Lalzawmi Zomi Frankcom mural and remember her 💔 …

Nice place for the dogs
Great little dog park . Shaded areas, water fountain . Friendly dogs and owners . Pram accessible if Needed. Good for most dogs except largest breeds I would think who need more space.
great for relaxing
Be warned, man with 2 staffies frequents here 2-4pm. His staffy is so aggressive it bite my dog through the fence, before we even got in. He admits and knows his dogs are aggressive, but keeps coming back.
A pleasant reserve on the Cooks River. Too bad that the council has blocked off or made very difficult access for prams and wheel chairs.
